How do I skip a payment?

Some Payble payment plans allow you to skip an upcoming payment. This option is only available on certain plan types and may not appear for every plan.

• Skipping isn’t available on all plans. Whether you can skip a payment depends on your plan type.

• Your future payments may change. If you skip a payment, the remaining instalments on your plan may increase to make up the missed amount. This can vary based on your plan type and the time of year.

• There’s a limit on consecutive skips. You can skip up to two payments in a row. After that, you’ll need to make a payment before the skip option becomes available again.

• Autopay plans can’t be skipped. If your plan type is Autopay (where each instalment is paid in full on the due date), skipping payments isn’t supported.

How-to

To make changes or view your plan in Payble you will need to sign in using the same authentication method you used when setting up your plan (mobile or email). You will not be able to view your plan if you haven’t authenticated with the exact same method. 

If your plans and payments don’t appear right away, click your Council’s logo at the top of the page to return to your profile, or the Home button. 

On a desktop browser the Home button is located on the top banner.

On a mobile browser the Home button is located under the menu button.

Once you are on your home/profile page, you’ll see a list of your active and past payment plans. 

Next, click the View details button under the relevant plan.

Next, click or tap Manage, and then select the Skip next payment button.

A screen will appear showing you the updated schedule for your plan, and terms applicable for the skip process.

Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Confirm Skip to process.

The payment has been skipped.

In addition, you will receive a SMS confirming that you have skipped the payment.

After you have reached the maximum skips permitted for your plan, the following screen will appear - you must make a payment before you can skip again.
