How do I skip a payment?
Some Payble plan types allow users to skip an upcoming payment.
Mentionable Items
It's important to note that not every plan has the option to skip an upcoming payment. Skipping a payment may mean that the remaining deductions/instalments for your plan may increase to cater for the skipped payment - this depends on the plan type and time of year.
You are only allowed to skip a maximum of two payments in a row before the functionality will be unavailable.
How-to
Open Payble by either following the QR code on your rates notice, the link in a previous text message from Payble or directly from your Council's website.
You will need to authenticate and sign in to Payble. You will need to use the same authentication method that was used when creating the plan.
If you aren't redirected to the homepage, or you can't see a list of your current & previous plans after you have authenticated, click the Council logo at the top of the screen to be taken to your profile page.
Next, click the View details button under the relevant plan.
Next, click or tap the Options menu, and then select the Skip Next Payment button.
A confirmation message will appear. You must enable the toggle before clicking the 'Skip next payment' button.
You will now see the Skipped payment on your schedule for the plan.
In addition, you will receive a SMS confirming that you have skipped the payment.
